At first I thought maybe its the fact the book had a lot of sexual content. And I don’t know why, but I found myself not giving the book a high rating.
The book was a bit confusing, even for a book by a sci-fi writer. I was pleasantly surprised when I found the book on amazon.
LIONESS QUOTES SERIES
I found the Lioness series by Kate Mosse to be really, really good, and since I’m a big fan of science fiction I was looking forward to getting my hands on some of the other books in the series. I’ve been on the hunt for a new book for ages now. I also love the title, especially since the word for Lioness is a strong word. It was a good choice for me since my reading habits are pretty simple and I can usually figure out what Im going to like from the first sentence of a book. I especially liked how the story developed and grew with each chapter. The main character, Iris Murdoch, has a very strong personality and is very likable. Its a story about a young English woman who comes to live and work on an island in the South Pacific, where the only people are cannibals. I read it in one sitting because I’ve read it so many times that I can read it over and over again. It’s one of those books that I’ve read multiple times, but never read in one sitting. The book I’m referring to is The Lioness by Iris Murdoch. So if you want to read a book for pleasure, there are many ways to do it. For others it’s a way to work through their day while they read. For some people reading a good book can help them keep the day going. Reading for pleasure is one way to keep our minds active, but it doesn’t have to be the only one. Its not a case of reading for relaxation or entertainment.
If you are reading a book for pleasure, you will probably be reading it for a purpose. Yes, I understand that many books can be boring, but I think reading is not the same as reading for pleasure. But when I get into a book, I’m often disappointed by the writing. I get great pleasure from reading about people’s lives and how they live theirs. There are a lot of things I like about books. I’ve tried to put a little distance between myself and reading books because I think the stories these books have to tell can be so personal and intimate that reading them might not be such a good idea. If you want your writing to stand out, you have to write things you don’t want to see in print. We all know that we are compelled to write something, but the temptation to write is often overwhelming. I’m not as averse to reading as I am to writing.
